somewhere in the northwest, 4 paths crossed, each starting at various points in time and place. From this convergence emerged a common experience and amidst this madness we gasp not for air but for a chance to divulge the happiness, sadness, excitement, and fear of life.

think of pretty things..

A simple mindset for a simple girl :) I actually am quite content at the moment.
I've been training for Storm the Wall nearly everyday, which has been an accomplishment in itself.
*plus* I just received an email from a friend saying that I brightened his entire day today..Yay!

Hello Everyone,

I am in an excellent mood, well, if I forget, momentarily how much work I have to do. I just came back from camp, went off to the Sunshine Coast with Sci One to do a conference type thing for our big research projects. I was scheduled to present on Friday night, so that was awesome, got it out of the way so I could enjoy the rest of the weekend! Well, since tonight is a wash (as I am quite tired) in terms of schoolwork, I am going to tell you all about my lovely weekend...

Friday: We left in the early afternoon which meant that I missed our first English class since Feb 14. Anyway, so, when we arrived on the island, we were supposed to walk for about 2 km uphill, with all our stuff, to get to the camp from the ferry terminal. We were told about this walk beforehand, so I was all prepped to do it. But... when we arrived, it was raining and pretty miserable out and a few of us were not too excited about trudging uphill will all our gear in the rain. So, we took a cab instead! Sounds sort of wimpy, but it was fantastic. Since five of us shared the cab, we only paid $1.50 each. We arrived there a) at the same time as the people that left the ferry terminal first, b) not wet! c) not tired!!! d) in fantastic moods. I believe the cab company that we tracked down was one of the only one that exists on that island, so it took us some time to get the number and then we had to wait for it to come, but it was definitely worth it.

Hmm... recounting the entire weekend may take a long time, and seeing as I am quite tired... more later in other words.

Okay people, what should I get Mr. President of SUS as of Thursday, March 27th??? Ideas people ideas. Also, is this supposed to be a serious thing? Like should I get him a classy present or can it be anything? AM, you should know, you are, after all, one of our current leaders as a member of the 02-03 exec. =)

Oh yes, AM, I am glad you enjoyed Sweet Home Alabama. You're right, there isn't really much to it, but it is definitely one of those feel good movies. You didn't like Blue Crush? I thought it was ok, my friend from high school absolutely loves it.

Okie doke, bedtime for me. Talk to you all soon. Remember, think ideas, ideas, and post them here, I have to go shopping tomorrow I think.
