Thank-you to all those who made my birthday a truly fantastic day. From those who sent cards/presents, devoted entire blog entries, dedicated MSN names, made cupcakes and sang to me blindfolded in the park at midnight, bothered to call/SMS/icq-message/visit/send e-cards ... never forgetting the one who cared for me most during my birthday blues at the end of the day when I just wanted to give up and crawl into my hiding spot and hide from the world..who reminded me why I am living and what life is to be lived for..who never ceased to have faith in my abilities..who guided me so that i'd never lose track of what is in focus..who tempted me out the very next day with Starbucks Fraps and Death by Chocolate, all just to cheer me up :) I am very appreciative of it all. Now planning the party, that truly is a pain, hoping it won't be a flop..Love ya Anna-Marie, for replying first and wanting to bring 49 guests! :) Oh! Just got my J-Crew catalogue in the mail today! Camping in time minus 2 days! But first, a final exam in Organic Chemistry. I am most unprepared. I have just been thinking, praying with the utmost petition of late .. how come some people have already been accepted to their programs? Anyway, I promised myself I won't become too mushily emotional in a mere blog entry, so I shan't. Explanations are owed to far too many............. Note: Blogger was dumb and wouldn't upload..So this was written a little while back..(2am Sunday morning to be exact)..and I'm out! Extremely eventful but tiring nonetheless - a more than accurate description of the past two days! Both days (Friday and Saturday), I somehow managed to drag myself out of bed by 7am in order to leave the house by 7:15am! (Record-breaking time to get ready, including packing a sandwich lunch!) I don't even recall to the precise detail what we did exactly, but with just over 4 hours of sleep per night, I don't really know how I manage being remotely functional. Friday night, I celebrated a friend's bday (my cool carpool buddy!). We got her a spongebob squarepants card and a fish lamp (like lava lamp but with fish), curtesy of Finding Nemo (which by the way has got to be the cutest movie ever!). I vowed to not eat fish after having watched it, but somehow got suckered into eating a dinner of lobster, clams, and salmon my friend's parents made .. So Nemo was actually a clownfish .. but nonetheless .. Friday night was a reunion of friends in some sorts I suppose. It's been a while since I saw them all last. The guys are still as cute as ever :) Ahem. So today (er, Saturday), seemed to last forever. Highlights: Running into random people, checking out the hotties at Hoop-It-Up (woohoo!), getting a neck massage to relieve my pain (ouch!), free food (mmmmmmm!!!), home-made ice cream malt shakes .. Of course there were some not so memorable events but .. Let's not talk about those. Can't believe I stayed out the entire day (being home is not so pleasant). I'm so incredibly drained of energy, just waiting till my hair will finish drying so I can enjoy the comfort of my bed ... Oh! And I just talked an hour and a half with an old friend on the phone :) I was apprehensive at first, that there'd be ackward silences, but it was actually alright. I'm quite pleased that our relationship is slowly getting back on track... mil hunnie, this was so incredibly thoughtful of you! 1000 words arn't enough for me to express how much you mean to me dear! is that chocolate cake? be sure to celebrate your uni acceptance with it and eat up for me k? *hugs* and truckloads of lovin' Anna-Marie > I tried calling you ... Thanks for the heads-up birthday-warnin' :D And summer school is nearly but not yet over. Guess what I'll be doing this week! hy blogged it at: 6:36 PM
